Your Guide To St. Louis’s Top Neighborhoods

St. Louis has been recently characterized as one of the best markets for potential real estate investors — and it’s true.

Because of the supply of affordable homes sprawling across the city and into the suburbs, St. Louis is a mecca for fix-and-flip projects, investment properties, and real estate development.

St. Louis Neighborhood Guide

If you’re an out-of-town investor or want to learn more about the neighborhood layout of St. Louis, our real estate mentor team has compiled this helpful guide to the St. Louis neighborhoods.

For those in the neighborhood, Laura Alamery, a real estate investing coach with decades of experience, will visit St. Louis soon for a real estate seminar. Be sure to register to be the first to learn about these fast-filling real estate workshops.

Crestwood

Listed as one of the “Hottest ZIP Codes” in 2016 by Realtor.com, Crestwood is a great neighborhood for young families who want to own rather than rent. If you’re looking for a single-family investment or fix-and-flip property, Crestwood is a must-consider.

Crestwood has a distinct advantage over other up-and-coming neighborhoods in St. Louis: good school districts. Elsewhere in St. Louis, families must fork over thousands of dollars to send children to private schools. In Crestwood, however, the Lindbergh School District is one of the best in the state.

The Crest is also a neat new development with a movie theater, fitness center, senior living center, and outdoor shops.

Tower Grove South

Tower Grove South has seen its home values skyrocket in the last few years, but that doesn’t mean it’s not still a good place to invest. Apartment complexes are shooting up left and right as millenials flood to this part of the city.

Tower Grove South is a great place to invest if you have the capital for a single family investment complex, apartment unit, or other rentable property.

Maplewood

Maplewood is just about everything you’d want in a suburban American city — it has great schools, parks, shopping districts, and restaurants. It’s no wonder why young St. Louis families are flocking to this neck of the woods, enjoying the  amenities and hip vibe of this neighborhood.

St. Peters

Named by Money as one of the best places to live in the US, St. Peters is a hub of activity thanks to its Cultural Arts Centre, 25 city parks, great schools, and Rec-Plex community activity center.

The city keeps getting development opportunities, so it’ll continue to grow (thanks in part to Amazon’s commitment to host a development center in St. Peters). While home prices are rising steadily, St. Peters represents a great investment for real estate brokers.
